Anthony Bartone

Anthony Bartone, Managing Partner of Terwilliger & Bartone Properties, began his career in 1993 at a Long Island based general contracting firm starting as apprentice carpenter; then carpenter; project manager; and finally vice president. During his tenure as vice president the firm saw production double and profits swell to the highest level on a percentage basis that the company experienced in its 30 years.  In 2002 Anthony left the contracting firm to form his real estate development and construction management parent firm, Bartone Holdings, the predecessor company to Bartone Properties.  In 2015 Bartone Properties entered into a strategic partnership with real estate development icon J. Ronald Terwilliger and Frances Terwilliger to form Terwilliger & Bartone Properties focusing on luxury class ‘A’ multi-family development in the Long Island sub-market.

Anthony is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy Preparatory School where he maintained a position on the Superintendent’s List; is a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal along with Expert Marksman Award; studied as a cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy; and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business, management, and economics.  Additional studies were undertaken at Suffolk County Community College in Leadership and Law, SUNY Empire State College in business and marketing, and he holds a commercial pilot’s license.          Anthony sits on the board of directors for Long Island Builders Institute (LIBI), the largest builder trade organization in New York State, and holds a board of directors seat with Long Island Homebuilders Care, the charitable non-profit arm of LIBI. He serves as an officer for Long Island Homebuilders Care as the treasurer, and is on the board of directors for Vision Long Island.

Terwilliger & Bartone Properties (formerly Bartone Properties) is the proud recipient of the 2012 and 2014 Vision Long Island Smart Growth Award; 2014 and 2016 Long Island Business News Award for Top Smart Growth Project; and 2017 Long Island Builders Institute Diamond Award for Multifamily Development.
